Humans perceive the world through the senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. But sometimes we have one sense more developed than the others. For example, when sight is the most developed sense it implies that not only can we observe the world through our eyes, but we can learn and much of it. Visual memory is a very important aspect for the intellectual development of children, it allows to preserve information that has been received visually and to keep it stored in the brain. 654ym
Here are some tips to strengthen your visual memory:
- Organize information by category. When reading any book or syllabus, choose the most important information and group it around common characteristics. The goal is for you to associate an image with the information you have collected.
- Develop your observation skills. When you are walking or strolling anywhere carefully observe everything around you and notice the details that catch your attention. The idea is for you to store as much information as possible at a glance.
- Exercise with images. Choose any image and observe it for 30 seconds, look at all the details. After the time has elapsed, take it back and carefully describe the image: the objects and colors that appear. You can even write a story about what you have seen.
- Memory games. Surely you the games that consisted of finding pairs with images in the shortest possible time. For a few seconds they show you a series of disordered images for you to look at them carefully, and when the time has elapsed they flip the images for you to find the pairs. This type of games will help you to exercise your memory.
