We started using Smile and Learn at the center where I work, AGORA LLEDO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in 2021, after testing the platform with different subjects and groups the previous year. Our center uses a multi-language approach based on linguistic immersion from kindergarten onwards. It was essential for us to find a way to integrate all subjects and help students practice and review their results independently through fun and engaging content. Smile and Learn offers a tool for children to be the protagonists of their learning both at school and at home. The platform is intuitive and easy to use and allows the integration of different areas. It also makes it possible to program learning paths that address the unit we see in class and encourages the discovery of similar content that complements the aspects of the unit in which each student is most interested.
All activities can be adapted to students with special needs. We can create routes for each unit or theme with content from different areas: language, mathematics, science or arts. It is also possible to adapt the learning checklists to the level or needs of each student, so that they can get the most out of the platform.
Smile and Learn is also a tool for children to continue learning at home and offers parents an educational alternative to the use of screens.
